Within this series, I am interested in showing comparisons, but with a twist. Similar to Monet’s “Series” paintings, in which he painted the same subject at different times of the day to show light and atmospheric changes, I have attempted to show the same subject with several variations. In each set there are two to six images of the same subject in which I have tried to minimize the image so that there is just two parts to the picture. Some of the sets of images change by way of colors variation. As I have made one part of the picture get darker, then reversely, the other part of the picture gradually gets lighter. The other sets of images don’t change by way of color variation. Instead, they differ through play or mimicry of the subject.
